Carnival Reminds Guests of its Code of Conduct

After tightening its repercussions for those who break the rules on its ships last year, Carnival is reminding guests what is expected of them while sailing.

In a letter to booked travelers, the line reiterated some of its Safety First policies, including the prohibition of marijuana and the limits for bringing alcohol on board. The letter also included reminders on rules against disruptive behavior, being a chair hog, and using speakers in public spaces.

Any violation of Carnival’s Code of Conduct could result in a $500 fine, detainment on board, or disembarkation at the next port of call.

Disney Magic to Receive New Concierge Staterooms

Disney Cruise Line will be adding more Concierge staterooms to Disney Magic this spring, as it converts some staterooms into the premium accommodation.

Eleven Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandahs will be turned into Concierge Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandahs. The transformed cabins will be available for cruises starting May 5th of this year, and are now open for booking.

The addition of these 11 cabins will increase the total number of Concierge Staterooms on Disney Magic to 44.

Guests with existing reservations will not be impacted by the change. The cabins will continue to be considered Deluxe Family Oceanview staterooms up to May 5th and will not include Concierge level perks, which are things like priority boarding, access to a private lounge and sundeck, and special gifts.

Crystal Cruises Bookings Opening This Month

Newly relaunched Crystal Cruises is closer to setting sail again, as it will be opening bookings to the general public later this month. Starting this summer, the line’s two ships Crystal Serenity and Symphony will sail to regions including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Asia, Alaska, the Caribbean, Australia, and more.

Crystal has enlarged the suites on the vessels, lowering the capacity from 980 to 740 on Serenity, and 848 to 606 on Symphony. The spa and gym will be revamped on both ships, and they’ll feature new event and food and beverage programs.

Travel agents and guests with Open Deposits have access to book starting today.

Crystal is now owned by A&K Travel Group after its previous parent company, Genting Hong Kong, went bankrupt at the beginning of 2022.
