Two Cunard Ships Depart on World Cruises on 100th Anniversary of Cunard’s First World Cruise
Cunard celebrated the 100th anniversary of its first world cruise on Wednesday, marking the occasion with a fireworks display in Southampton as Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria departed on their own world cruises. Both ships feature unique itineraries that have many of the same ports of call as those first voyages on RMS Laconia and RMS Samaria.
Queen Victoria is now on a 101 day world cruise that will visit 26 ports in 20 countries. Queen Mary 2 is on a 102-day world cruise that will visit 31 ports in 18 countries.
Both itineraries feature a number of overnight stays in destinations including Singapore, Dubai, and Hong Kong.
Adventures by Disney Announces 2024 Expedition Cruises
Adventures by Disney has announced a new seven-night expedition cruise in the Adriatic on a ship chartered from luxury line Ponant. The 2024 sailing will be roundtrip from Venice, visiting seven ports in Croatia and Montenegro.
Also in 2024, Adventures by Disney will be offering expedition cruises to Antarctica, the Galápagos Islands, and the Arctic.
Guests have the option of adding short land-based tours onto their cruises, such as four days in Buenos Aires with an Antarctica cruise or six-days in the Amazon prior to a Galápagos sailing.

Silversea Cruises Details Public Spaces on Silver Nova
Silversea Cruises has revealed details on the public venues aboard its upcoming ship, Silver Nova.
New to the cruise line will be The Shelter, an evening-only bar. The S.A.L.T. Bar and S.A.L.T. Lab cooking class have been relocated to deck 10, both with more space and new outdoor areas.
Silver Nova also features new asymmetrical layout, which will allow for better passenger flow between spaces. The 728-guest ship is scheduled to debut this August in the Mediterranean.
